  • Heads Up!
    February 3, 2020
This week's topic is on the 9th Commandment, "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife". Terms that may come up are pornography, sex, and terms dealing with these subjects. The goal of this night is for the youth to understand that the ninth commandment calls us to purity in our minds, in our hearts, and through our actions. We will be using some of Jason Everts Theology of the Body for Teens middle school addition to help us talk about the topic. If you are looking for more info on how to talk to your children about sex and sexuality Jason has a great website you should check out.   https://chastity.com/

  • "Would you Consider?" Eric and Rita Anderson's Lay Witness on Stewardship of Treasure
    October 25, 2019
Eric and I give, but we basically live paycheck to paycheck. We often pray about our finances, and it was exactly that, that I was praying about just a few days before. I was really worrying about it, wondering how we were going to get by. But then I did something I am not even proud to say out loud. I got mad. Talking to everyone in our parish, about stewardship of treasure was NOT what I was praying for. I was sure God and myself had our wires disconnected somewhere. And like usual Eric was fully on board, so here we are. Click and find out how Eric and Rita do live as Stewards of Christ gifts!

Blessing of St. Edmond School - All Men of the Parish Invited
    August 11, 2019
Calling all men of Holy Trinity Parish! We would like to invite you, and your sons, to come out next Friday, August 16th, at 5:30 to St. Edmond School where we will be having an Eucharistic Procession around the school as a blessing before the upcoming school year. Following the procession we will get together for some social time and a seafood boil! If everyone can bring the fish/seafood of their choice and/or link sausage (ie: kielbasa) to throw in the pot and your own beverages, we will provide the veggies and hot dogs for those that aren't fans of seafood. Hope to see a great turnout for this event to kick off the upcoming year! Please meet in the SE elementary commons (back parking lot, door 14)

  • What will happen to the bricks with the message/name on them at Sacred Heart church?
What will happen to the bricks with the message/name on them at Sacred Heart church?
    July 16, 2019
Unfortunately at this point there is really no definitive answer to that question. There is no decision what will happen to Sacred Heart Church; which means then there is no decision regarding the bricks. If Sacred Heart Church was sold and no longer a church, or if it were torn down, then serious consideration would be given to what to do with the bricks.
