What is Rachel's Vineyard? Rachel's Vineyard weekends for healing after abortion are offered throughout the year in locations across the United States and Canada, with additional sites around the world. Rachel’s Vineyard is a ministry of Priests for Life The program is an opportunity to examine your abortion experience, identify the ways that the loss has impacted you in the past and present, and helps to acknowledge any unresolved feelings that many individuals struggle with after abortion. Because of the emotional numbness and secrecy that often surrounds an abortion experience, conflicting emotions both during and after the event may remain unresolved. These buried feelings can surface later and may be symptoms of post abortion trauma. Married couples, mothers, fathers, grandparents and siblings of aborted children, as well as persons who have been involved in the abortion industry have come to Rachel's Vineyard in search of peace and inner healing. The weekend is a lot of work but yields a fruitful harvest for all who are willing to labor there. To learn more, please read about our weekend retreats. Also, please see comments from people who have attended the weekends, as well as our explanation of the name "Rachel's Vineyard."

Why did the design on the new church change from the original design with a dome and arched windows to the current design that is much more square? The original design was beautiful and the new design looks cheaper. Was it because of budget cuts?

We have gone live with Ministry Scheduler Pro, our liturgical ministry scheduling program! An introductory email was sent on Aug 10 to all liturgical ministers whose email addresses we have in our database. Please note that the MSP program is scheduling only Corpus Christi Masses for now and not Sacred Heart Masses; however, ALL liturgical ministers, regardless of location, will be able to make changes to their profile (address, phone, email). This is new to us as well as to you so please bear with us as we work through the phases of learning and implementing this program. This is a learning process which we will go through together, so thank you for your patience and forbearance! Please call the parish office, 955-6077, with any questions you have at this point. Thank you!

Gospel Reading: MT 13:10-17 As a toddler, you used your tactile sense to understand what things felt like and tasted like in order to understand the world around you. You didn’t know that your finger was called a finger, or your toes were called your toes, but I bet you knew how they tasted and what they felt like and eventually you learned that when you bite down on either of them … it was not a pleasant feeling. If we approach today’s Gospel with the same child-like curiosity it makes sense. read more by clicking for full article....
