These days are not easy. We understand that many of you are frustrated with this situation; so are we. We want to celebrate Mass with our parishioners and get back to “normal.” However, we take the advice of Paul: “Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer” (Romans 12:12). Take comfort in knowing that Jesus is with us and with you, our faithful. Please read the full article by clicking on the picture.
Please know that we are elated with the Governor's proclamation to allown for religious services and gathergs. While we are just as eager as you are to know the when and where; reality is that Bishop Nickless will need to consult with his advisors and priests to review what precautions are to be in place, what limitations may still exist and then how and when to allow services. When a plan has been developed we will make you aware via our social media and website.

Through the direction of Pope Francis, Bishop Walker Nickless invites all Christians to pray at noon on March 25. Today is significant as it marks the day when many Christians commemorate the annunciation of the angel Gabriel to Mary with the announcement that she would be the mother of the Son of God. “I invite all the heads of churches and the leaders of all the Christian communities, together with all the Christians of the various confessions, to invoke the Most High, Almighty God, reciting contemporaneously the prayer that Jesus Our Lord taught us. I invite all, therefore, to do so several times a day, but, all together, to recite the Our Father Wednesday, March 25, at midday – all together,” Pope Francis declared. Bishop Nickless said he is hopeful all Christians will join in prayer today at noon, as well as in continuous prayer during this extremely difficult time.
