How long will we be in this model? We plan to continue with “At Home” through December, at which time we will re-evaluate the public health information and determine whether we will return in January to “In Person” or not. I grew up in Indianola and have lived in the FD area since 2008, Between working in retail and recycling over the past 20 years I have always been a man of service, and not afraid to get my hands dirty. These days are not easy. We understand that many of you are frustrated with this situation; so are we. We want to celebrate Mass with our parishioners and get back to “normal.” However, we take the advice of Paul: “Rejoice in hope, endure in affliction, persevere in prayer” (Romans 12:12). Take comfort in knowing that Jesus is with us and with you, our faithful. Please read the full article by clicking on the picture.
Please know that we are elated with the Governor's proclamation to allown for religious services and gathergs. While we are just as eager as you are to know the when and where; reality is that Bishop Nickless will need to consult with his advisors and priests to review what precautions are to be in place, what limitations may still exist and then how and when to allow services. When a plan has been developed we will make you aware via our social media and website.
